This policy explains how subscriptions to Trusvo are billed, cancelled, and refunded. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor. Prices shown on the pricing page and in your account are the prices charged; applicable taxes are added at checkout where required.

A free tier is available and does not expire. It is limited rather than time-boxed — you are not on a trial that lapses.

2. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing, which opens the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access, and your data stays intact, until that period ends. We do not require you to contact support to cancel.

3. Refunds

Because cancellation already stops the next charge and you retain access for the period you paid for, we do not routinely refund part-months.

We will refund a charge where: (a) you were billed after cancelling; (b) you were billed twice for the same period; (c) a fault on our side made the service substantially unusable for a sustained part of the period; or (d) the law where you live gives you a right to withdraw. Contact us and we will put it right.

Requests: privacy@trusvo.com. We aim to respond within five working days.

4. Changing plan

Moving between paid plans changes your existing subscription — you are not charged twice, and a second subscription is never created. Every change takes effect immediately:

  • Moving up: you are charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current period straight away, and the higher plan applies once that payment succeeds. If it fails, you stay on your current plan.
  • Moving down: the lower plan applies at once, and the unused time on your previous plan is credited to your next invoice. Credits reduce future charges; they are not paid out as cash refunds.

Moving to the Free tier is a cancellation (section 2): your paid plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

5. What happens to your data

Cancelling does not delete your workspace. Your services, evidence, plans and exercises remain, subject to the retention terms in the Terms of Service, and paid features simply stop being available. You can export your data at any time, including after cancelling, from Account → Export. To delete your account outright, use Account → Delete account.

6. Published trust rooms

If you have published a trust room or Resilience Passport, cancelling a paid plan may reduce what it can show (for example, custom branding or approval-gated access). The room itself is not deleted, and any link you have shared continues to resolve.

7. Price changes

If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
